Your dancer must be the age required by September 8th. All level classes must be approved by experience.

BABY CLASSES

Tiny Tutus (10-18 months)

Tiny Tutus is a Mommy and Me dance class, perfect for little ones aged 10 to 18 months! This delightful class offers a wonderful opportunity for bonding while introducing your baby to the joy of movement and music. Together, you’ll explore simple dance steps. Your little dancer will work on hand eye coordination, body awareness, and will get to explore their space through movement all set to some of their favorite tunes. Get ready to make magical memories with your tiny dancer!

Baby Ballerina (18-24 months)

This is a Mommy and Me Dance Class where the caregiver is in the room for support. Introduce your little one to the magical world of dance. This class provides a delightful bonding experience for both parent and child. Watch your little one explore basic ballet movements, rhythm, learn directional concepts and coordination through playful activities, gentle exercises, and enchanting music. Our nurturing environment encourages creativity and builds early motor skills, all while having fun! Join us for a joyful journey of dance, where tiny dancers can twirl, leap, and create precious memories.

TODDLER CLASSES

Ballet & Tap (2.5-5 yrs)

Discover the joy of dance in our Ballet and Tap class, perfect for young dancers aged 2.5 to 5! This fun and engaging class introduces children to the basics of both ballet and tap dance. In the ballet portion, kids will learn graceful movements, basic positions, and simple choreography, helping them develop coordination, balance, and flexibility. The tap segment focuses on rhythm, timing, and basic tap steps, encouraging musicality and expressive footwork. Our nurturing environment ensures that each child feels confident and excited to dance. Join us for a delightful journey into the world of ballet and tap, where every little dancer can shine!

Broadway Babies (2.5-3 yrs)

Step into the spotlight with our “Broadway Babies” tap and jazz dance class, designed for little stars aged 2.5 to 3 years! This energetic and fun-filled class introduces the basics of tap dance, rhythm, and coordination. Your young dancer will tap to catchy Broadway tunes, developing musicality and confidence along the way. Let your child shine and make some noise with their happy feet.

Tiny Tumblers (2 yrs)

Little ones flip into an exciting tumble class for 2yrs!In this class dancers will learn the beginning basics of tumbling and gymnastics. They will explore strength training and flexibility in a fun and supportive way. This class is designed to enhance muscle control, patience, and flexibility all while having fun using the mats and their imaginations!

Tutu & Tumble (2 yrs)

Our Tutu & Tumble class is the perfect first dance class for 2-year-olds! This playful class introduces the basics of ballet and tumbling through music, movement, imagination, and age-appropriate activities. Dancers will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, listening skills, and confidence while having fun in a positive, encouraging environment. Tutu & Tumble dancers will also perform in Ms. Lisa's Annual Spring Recital, creating a special first stage experience for both dancers and their families.

Twinkle Toe Two’s (2 yrs)

Step into the enchanting world of ballet with our Twinkle Toe Twos class, specially designed for 2-year-olds! This delightful class introduces your little one to the basics of ballet through imaginative play, gentle exercises, and enchanting music. Our nurturing and playful environment encourages toddlers to develop their coordination, balance, locomotive movements and motor skills while having fun. Through creative movement and simple ballet steps, children will experience the joy of dance and self-expression. Join us for a magical journey where twirling, leaping, and giggling are all part of the fun!

PRESCHOOL CLASSES

Acro Preschool (3-5 yrs)

Watch your little one flip and roll with excitement in our Preschool Acro Class for ages 3 to 5! This energetic class introduces young children to the basics of acrobatics, focusing on flexibility, strength, and coordination in a fun and safe environment. Perfect for active preschoolers looking to explore movement and develop foundational skills, this class offers an acro adventure filled with fun, laughter, and new friends!

Competition Team (3-5 yrs)

This 3 to 5 year old class is by audition only and recommended for children who enjoy performing for others. This troupe will be asked to perform throughout the year and will be in 3 competitions. We will concentrate on character dancing and jazz. A technique class is also required for this class.

Ballet & Tap (2.5-5 yrs)

Our Dance Combo class introduces preschool dancers to the exciting styles of ballet, jazz, acro, and hip hop all in one class! Students will build confidence, coordination, flexibility, strength, rhythm, and creativity through age-appropriate instruction in a fun and supportive environment. This class is perfect for young dancers who love to move and explore different styles while developing a strong foundation in dance.

Lil Hip Hop (3-6 yrs)

Get ready to groove and move in our Little Hip Hop class, designed especially for energetic boys and girls aged 4 to 5! This fun and high-energy class introduces young dancers to the basics of hip hop in an engaging and playful environment. Children will learn simple hip hop moves, rhythms, and routines while developing coordination, balance, and self-expression. With age-appropriate music and imaginative activities, this class encourages creativity and builds confidence. Join us for a fantastic time filled with dancing, laughter, and lots of fun!

Pre-Ballet (4-6 yrs)

Introduce your child to the graceful world of ballet with our Pre-Ballet class, specially designed for ages 4 to 6. This class focuses on basic ballet techniques, barre and floor work, and foundational dance skills in a nurturing and imaginative environment. Your dancer will develop coordination, flexibility, and a love for ballet through engaging activities and beautiful music. Watch your child turn with joy!

Twirling Tutus (3-4 yrs)

Join our Twirling Tutus class, perfect for budding ballerinas aged 3 and 4! This enchanting ballet class focuses on introducing young dancers to the basics of ballet through fun and engaging activities. Your little one will learn graceful movements, simple techniques, and develop a love for dance in a supportive and joyful environment. Let your child twirl and sparkle with every step!

Princess Ballet (3-5 yrs)

Our Princess Ballet class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet in a magical, princess-themed setting! Through imaginative adventures, music, and creative movement, dancers will build confidence, coordination, balance, flexibility, and a love for dance while learning age-appropriate ballet technique. Throughout the year, dancers may even enjoy surprise visits from their favorite princesses!

Tumble Twirl (4-6 yrs)

Our Tumble & Twirl class combines the fundamentals of ballet and beginner acro in one exciting class! Dancers will build strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and confidence while learning age-appropriate ballet technique and foundational tumbling skills in a fun, supportive environment. This class is perfect for young dancers who love to twirl, jump, and tumble. Students will also perform in Ms. Lisa's Annual Spring Recital.

Lyrical & Ballet (4-6 yrs)

This class is perfect for children who love to move, imagine, and express themselves. Ballet & Lyrical class introduces young dancers to the beauty of ballet while exploring the expressive art of lyrical dance. Lyrical combines the graceful technique of ballet with creative movement, allowing dancers to tell stories and express emotions through fluid, flowing choreography.

Students will develop musicality, artistry, and confidence, and while learning the fundamentals of ballet in a fun and encouraging environment. Through imaginative exercises and expressive movement, dancers will learn to connect with the music, explore their creativity, and communicate emotions through dance.

Youth Classes

Acro & Tumbling 1 & 2 (4-10 yrs)

Acro Dance combines dance technique with acrobatic moves. This is a high energy class for children ages 4 years and older, where they will learn the beginning basics of tumbling and acrobatics. In a level 1 class dancers will learn moves such as pre splits, bridges, cartwheels, and log rolls. Dancers will also focus on strength building and flexibility to benefit their tumbling and prepare them for the next level. Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Acro classes do not participate in Ms. Lisa’s annual Spring recital. Instead parents are invited into the studio twice a year to see what the dancers have been learning. Join us for a challenging and fun journey where you’ll achieve new skills and reach new heights in acrobatics!

Ballet I (5-9 yrs)

Ballet 1 class for 5 to 9-year-olds: Introduce your child to the enchanting world of ballet with our Ballet 1 class for ages 5 to 9! This class focuses on fundamental ballet techniques, posture, and coordination which includes barre work, floor work and across the floor exercises. Young dancers will develop grace, flexibility, and discipline through structured lessons. All of our ballet classes will be invited to participate in our Holiday Nutcracker show in December.

Ballet & Tap (6-10 yrs)

Dancers learn both ballet & tap in this introduction dance class. Class starts with tap where dancers will learn fundamentals of tap dance, focusing on rhythm, coordination, and basic tap techniques. Perfect for building a strong foundation and having fun with rhythmic patterns and sounds. Half way through tthe class dancers will transition to ballet learning ballet techniques, posture, and coordination which includes barre work, floor work and across the floor exercises. Young dancers will develop grace, flexibility, and discipline through structured lessons.

Combo Dance (6-10 yrs)

Do you love to dance and want to explore multiple styles of dance? Dance combo is a unique class that combines ballet, jazz, acro, & hip hop style dance. Dancers are introduced to multiples styles of dance in this upbeat class. Dance combo is perfect for the new dancer who wants to try a variety of styles of dance at once.

Contemporary I (6-10 yrs)

Immerse yourself in the expressive world of contemporary dance! This class blends elements of modern, ballet, and jazz to create fluid and innovative choreography. Perfect for dancers looking to explore creativity, improve technique, and express emotions through movement. This class is for dancers ages 6 to 10 year olds who have little or no contemporary dance experience. This is a structured dance class that includes intricate floor work, technique across the floor, and self-expression through movement.

Hip Hop 1 (6-10 yrs)

Unleash your inner dancer and groove to the beat in our dynamic Hip Hop Dance Class! Designed for three age levels and based on experience. This class focuses on high-energy routines, rhythm, and the latest urban moves. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, join us for a fun and vibrant experience. Let’s dance it out and express yourself through the power of hip hop!

Jazz I (6-10 yrs)

Step into the vibrant world of jazz dance, where energy, rhythm, and style come together! Our jazz dance class offers an exciting and dynamic experience, perfect for dancers of various level. We offer 3 levels based on experience and age. This class emphasizes sharp, strong movements, quick footwork, and unique choreography set to upbeat music. Dancers will learn a variety of jazz techniques, including kicks, turns, leaps, and isolations, while also focusing on performance skills and stage presence. With a blend of traditional and contemporary jazz styles. Join us and feel the rhythm as you develop your technique, confidence, and passion for jazz dance.

Lyrical 1 (6-10 yrs)

Lyrical dance is a creative dance style that blends classical ballet with jazz and contemporary. This class focuses on creative self expression using emotions and individual movements from the dancers. Lyrical is a fluid dance style that often tells a story through dance. A great class for beginner dancers or those who have a few years of dance experience.

Musical Theatre (6-10 yrs)

Step into the spotlight and shine in our Musical Theater Dance Class! Open to ages 4 to 18, this class combines the magic of Broadway with the energy of dance. Learn choreography to popular musical numbers, improve your performance skills, and build confidence on stage. Whether you’re a budding star or simply love to perform and more advanced, join us and bring your favorite musical moments to life!

Prima Ballerina (6-10 yrs)

Calling all aspiring stars aged 6 to 10! Our Prima Ballerina dance team is the perfect opportunity for young dancers to shine on stage. By audition only, this elite performance group will train in advanced techniques and perform stunning routines in the community. This is an incredible chance to develop skills, build confidence, and be part of a dedicated and passionate dance community.

Acro Level 3 (6-12 yrs)

Elevate your acro skills in our Acro 3 Class! This advanced class focuses on perfecting walking bridge, back rolls, handstands, & cartwheel from one knee. Ideal for dancers ready to tackle more challenging acrobatic moves and enhance their technique. Dancers in acro 3 have already mastered all the skills in acro 1 & 2 and ready for more challenging skills. Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Acro classes do not participate in Ms. Lisa’s annual Spring recital. Instead parents are invited into the studio twice a year to see what the dancers have been learning. Join us to push your limits, build strength, and achieve impressive acrobatic feats in a supportive and motivating environment!

Ballet II (6-10 yrs)

This class is designed for students who have learned the basic skills of ballet and have completed at least one year of ballet 1. The time will begin with barre, focusing on body alignment balance and strength. Center work will consist of learning body positions of intermediate ballet and include French terminology. Across the floor work will enhance the dancers sense of coordination and directional awareness. All of our ballet classes will be invited to participate in our Holiday Nutcracker show in December.

Cheer Dance (6-10 yrs)

Get ready to cheer, jump, dance and tumble in our Cheer Class for ages 5 to 9! This energetic class focuses on cheerleading basics, including cheers, chants, stunts, and tumbling. Perfect for young athletes looking to build team spirit, improve coordination, and have a blast. Join us to learn exciting routines, boost your confidence, and make new friends in a fun and supportive environment. This Class is offered at Ms. Lisa’s Acro and Tumble Studio. Cheer competition teams are also offered by audition only.

Competition Team (5-9 yrs)

Competition teams are by audition only and are for the experienced dancer who wants to take their dance ability to the next level! This competition team will be asked to perform at three venues a year. They will participate in three competitions and may attend one convention during the dance year. A costume will need to be purchased for performances. A variety of teams and dance styles are offered based on dancers skills & ecperience. This is a great opportunity for children who love to perform!

Contemporary II (8-16 yrs)

This class is for dancers who have two or more years of experience in contemporary style dance. This is a structured dance class that includes intricate floor work, technique across the floor, and self-expression through movement.

Hip-Hop II (8-16 yrs)

This class show cases a dancer’s individual style and originality. Every dancer interprets and executes moves and steps in their own way. This class explodes with energy using a variety of upbeat music. Class begins with a warm up, progressions across the floor, and hip-hop combination. The class introduces intricate foot work, as well as arm motions. The students are encouraged to develop their own style of movement with freestyle dancing. Prior Hip Hop experience is required for this class.

Jazz II (8-16 yrs)

Jazz dancing is energetic and fun! This class explodes with energy using a variety of Broadway music and hip-hop tunes. A warm up, progressions across the floor, jazz technique and jazz combinations are all a part of this class. Jazz steps include: basic turns, chaines, piques, pirouettes, and jazz turns. The leaps covered are grand jetes, turning jumps and tour jetes. Jazz 2 is for the experienced dancer who has master basic jazz skills in the Jazz 1 class.

Lyrical II (7-12 yrs)

Unleash your creativity and express your emotions through the beautiful art of lyrical dance. In our lyrical dance class, dancers will explore the fluidity and grace of movements that blend ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. This class focuses on musicality, storytelling, and conveying deep emotions through choreography. Dancers will learn to connect their movements with music, enhancing their performance with expressive gestures and dynamic sequences. Suitable for all levels, our lyrical dance class provides a nurturing environment where dancers can grow their technique, artistry, and passion for dance. Join us and discover the power of movement and emotion in every step.

Tap 1 (6-10 yrs)

Get ready to make some noise in our Tap 1 Dance Class for ages 5 to 9! This beginner-friendly class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of tap dance, focusing on rhythm, coordination, and basic tap techniques. Perfect for building a strong foundation and having fun with rhythmic patterns and sounds. Join us to tap your way into an exciting dance journey

Acro Dance (6-10 yrs)

Perfect for beginner and intermediate dancers, our Acro Dance class blends tumbling, flexibility, strength, balance, and dance technique into one exciting class! Students will safely develop foundational acro skills while building confidence, coordination, and performance quality in a fun, supportive environment. This class incorporates dance into every lesson and will perform in Ms. Lisa's Annual Spring Recital.

TEEN CLASSES

Acro 4

Acro Dance combines dance technique with acrobatic moves. This is a high enery class for the mature dancer where they will learn tumbling and acrobatic moves. This level has mastered Acro levels 2 & 3. This more advanced classes will have a concentration on flexibility (full splits right, left, center, toes to head, and shoulder stretch). Strength training will continue with longer intervals. Balancing in a half scorpion hold, handstand sholder shrug, headstand with a press straddle to straight, and a forearm stand. Limbering will focus on Bridge recover, Bridge kick over, bridge prances, dive roll, and one handed cartwheel. Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Dancers are required to take a placement class before enrolling in an Acro Level 4 class.

Acro 5

Acro Dance combines dance technique with acrobatic moves. This is a high enery class for the mature dancer where they will learn tumbling and acrobatic moves. This level has mastered Acro levels 3 & 4. This more advanced classes will have a concentration on flexibility (full splits right, left, center, toes to head, and shoulder stretch). Strength training will continue with longer intervals. Balancing in a scorpion hold, chest stand, headstand with a press straddle to straight, and a forearm stand. Limbering will focus on front limber, bridge prances, arabian handstand to roll, and hurdle cartwheel. Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Dancers are required to take a placement class before enrolling in an Acro Level 5 class.

Acro 6

Acro Dance combines dance technique with acrobatic moves. This is a high enery class for the mature dancer where they will learn tumbling and acrobatic moves. This level has mastered Acro levels 4 & 5. This more advanced classes will have a concentration on flexibility (full splits right, left, center, toes to head, and shoulder stretch). Strength training will continue with longer intervals. Balancing in scorpion hold, chest stand, handstand shoulder touch, leg holds, and a forearm stand. Limbering will focus on rocking brige and flip flops. Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Limbering includes Hurdle Round Off, front & back walkovers, and flying cartwheels. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Dancers are required to take a placement class before enrolling in an Acro Level 6 class.

Acro 7

Acro Dance combines dance technique with acrobatic moves. This is a high enery class for the mature dancer where they will learn tumbling and acrobatic moves. This level has mastered Acro levels 5 & 6. This more advanced classes will have a concentration on flexibility (splits, scorpion, and toes to head). Strength training will continue with longer intervals. Balancing in scorpion hold, chest stand, one arm shoulder stand, and forearm stand. Limbering will focus on tick tock, moon walkover, and arabian limber (front & back). Skills will progress based on each dancers experience and ability. Tumbling includes Hurdle Round Off, front & back handsprings, and aerials. Ms. Lisa’s Dance uses the “Acrobatic Arts” program in their Acro Dance classes and many of our teachers are acrobatic certified. Dancers are required to take a placement class before enrolling in an Acro Level 7 class.

Ballet III (10-18 yrs)

This class is designed for students who have mastered the basic skills of ballet and want to take ballet to the next level. Core strength is a key focus. Dancers who participate in this class are required to know ballet terminology, the 5 positions of classical ballet, and execute a clean single turn both en de hors and en de dans. This class is a great preparation for any dancer who desires to go en pointe.

Competition Team

This is our competition and performance team for ages 10 and up. This is by audition only, see the front desk or contact the studio at 813-253-5472 for audition dates & details. Competition teams are for the experienced dancer who is ready to take their dance ability to the next level. Teams offered in a variety of styles including lyrical, jazz, hip hop, acro, & musical theatre. Recreationals and elite team options available. This is a great opportunity for the dancer who loves to perform and wants to be involved in competitions.

Contemporary III (13-18 yrs)

This class is for advanced dancers ages 13 to 18. This is a structured dance class that includes intricate floor work, technique across the floor, and self-expression through movement. Prior Contemporary dance experience is required for this class

Hip Hop III (13-18 yrs)

This class is a high energy style of dance for ages 13 to 18. The class uses intricate foot work, as well as arm motions. Class begins with a warm up, progresses across the floor and then moves into the center of the floor to work on choreography and combinations. The students are encouraged to develop their own style of movement with freestyle dancing. Prior Hip Hop experience is required. This class is designed for the advance dancer with several years of prior hip hop expereince and is looking to excel their hip hop skills to the next level.

Jazz III (13-18 yrs)

Step into the vibrant world of jazz dance, where energy, rhythm, and style come together! Our jazz dance class offers an exciting and dynamic experience, perfect for dancers of various level. We offer 3 levels based on experience and age. This class emphasizes sharp, strong movements, quick footwork, and unique choreography set to upbeat music. Dancers will learn a variety of jazz techniques, including kicks, turns, leaps, and isolations, while also focusing on performance skills and stage presence. With a blend of traditional and contemporary jazz styles. This class is an advance level class and is designed for the dancer who has several years of jazz experience. Join us and feel the rhythm as you develop your technique, confidence, and passion for jazz dance.

Learn choreography to popular musical numbers, improve your performance skills, and build confidence on stage. Whether you’re a budding star or simply love to perform and more advanced, join us and bring your favorite musical moments to life!

Pre Pointe/Pointe (13-18 yrs)

This class is for ages 13 to 18. This class is designed for the more advanced dancer who has a desire to further their training in ballet. Class will consist of strength training during barre work and floor work. There is a high focus on body alignment, arm/foot placement, balance and coordination. This class is by placement only and students have to be approved to participate in this class.

Tap III (10-18 yrs)

Tap dance is an energetic dance that uses rhythm and percussion in intricate footwork. In this class students will learn rhythm and coordination by learning a variety of steps & choregraphy to a range of upbeat music. Prior Tap experience is required for this class.

Turns & Leaps (10-18 yrs)

Turns & Leaps class is designed for dancers looking to strengthen their technique and improve the execution of turns, jumps, and leaps. Students will focus on proper alignment, spotting, body control, strength, flexibility, and conditioning while learning drills and progressions that build consistency, power, and confidence. This class is ideal for dancers This class is ideal for dancers who want to refine their technical skills and improve execution, control, and precision in their dance ability.
