Baby Ballerina Curriculum

Ms. Twinkle Toes Ballet is a creative ballet curriculum for the youngest of ballerinas. Lesson designed for tiny dancers ages 18-24 months. In this 30 minute mommy and me ballet class dancers will shine as their imagination and creativity come alive! With the help of mom, little ones will explore movement, songs, and dance. 

Ms. Twinkle Toes Baby Ballerina curriculum includes 16 step by step lesson plans. Each lesson has at least 10 dances with easy to follow instructions, prop ideas, songs, and a Spotify playlist link. A bonus includes weekly coloring pages to help teach a new skill each week and lyrics to a welcome & goodbye song. Lessons are designed with littles one in mind, using basic skills and teaching simple steps in a unique way. All songs and dances are based on things small ones can relate to, such as animals, nature, colors, etc. Directional concepts, body awareness, and spatial relations are introduced to help dancers explore and imagine! 

Ms. Twinkle Toes Ballet was created by Lisa Schmiedeke, owner of Ms. Lisa’s Dance in Tampa Florida. Ms. Lisa has her masters in special education and taught elementary education for 15 years prior to opening a dance studio. For the past 20 years Ms. Lisa has shared her passion for dance with her students, growing her business. Now Ms. Lisa’s Dance has over 1000 students, over half of those students are under the age of 5! After decades of experience she has developed a successful baby ballet dance curriculum and class structure that she is excited to share with other teachers and studio owners to help them grow their baby dance classes!
