BABY CLASSES

Baby Ballerina (18-24 Months)

This class is a mommy and me class. Your little one will explore movements, songs, and dance with you there to guide them along the way. Directional concepts, body awareness and spatial relations are explored to a variety of songs and nursery rhymes. In this class dancers will learn how to move and be creative using a variety of dance props, including Shakers, scarves, & pom poms. Tiny dancers will start each class at the Ballet barre and will learn basic ballet dance steps throughout the class. A great introductory dance class to allow little ones to explore and move.

Dress Code:

Pink or black leotard and pink ballet shoes. Pink tights are optional at this age. If possible pull hair out of face.

Ms. Lisa’s has a boutique in the studio that sells leotard, tights, and ballet shoes!

Tiny Tutus (10-18 Months)

This class is a mommy and me class, where the moms are encouraged to move and explore with their little ones. In this class basic movements, songs, and rhythms are introduced to the tiniest dancers. Dancers will explore directional concepts, body awareness, and spatial relations with you there to guide them along the way. Props such as shakers, teddy bears, & ribbons are used this class to allow dancers to be creative and to express movement. Basic dance moves are taught, including kicks, marches, clapping, etc. During this class parents will also be encouraged to engage in a discussion time where the teacher will ask parenting questions.
