BABY CLASSES

Baby Ballerina (Ages 10-18 Months)

Baby Ballerina is a mommy & me class. Where the Mom/Parent will benefit as well as the dancer. The Baby Ballerina class is only 7 weeks long to introduce tiny dancers to movement and creativity. Each week the dancers will sing songs, learn basic dance movements such as marching, clapping, etc, dancers will also learn counting and rhythm using a variety of props including shakers, scarves, and butterfly wings. Each week the instructor will lead a group parent discussion, giving the Mommies an opportunity to talk and share what they have learned and discovered while raising a little one. The Baby Ballerina class is for ages 10-18 months.

Class Times:

Saturday 9:30-10:00 – Teacher: Ms. Michelle

Dress Code:

Any comfortable clothes such as shorts & a T-shirt or a ballet leotard. Dancers can dance barefoot or pink ballet shoes.

Tiny Tutus (18-24 Months)

This class is a mommy and me class. Your little one will explore movements, songs, and dance with you there to guide them along the way. Directional concepts, body awareness and spatial relations are explored to a variety of songs and nursery rhymes. In this class dancers will learn how to move and be creative using a variety of dance props, including Shakers, scarves, & pom poms. Tiny dancers will start each class at the Ballet barre and will learn basic ballet dance steps throughout the class. A great introductory dance class to allow little ones to explore and move.

Wednesday 10:00-10:30 – Teacher: Ms. Alysha

Thursday 10:00-10:30 – Teacher: Ms. Lisa

Saturday 10:00-10:30 – Teacher: Ms. Michelle

Dress Code:

Pink or black leotard and pink ballet shoes. Pink tights are optional at this age. If possible pull hair out of face.

Shake, Rattle, & Roll (Ages 20-28 Months)

Shake, Rattle, & Roll is a mommy & me class. This is a Tumble & creative movement dance class for the littlest of dancers. Dancers explore muscle control, strength building, & flexibility in a fun supportive way. Tumble mats and balance steps are some of the tools dancers will use to help them learn how to bend & stretch! Fun songs & props will be incorporated into this class  to keep the dancers moving. Some of the moves dancers will learn in this class are bear walks, front rolls, and frog jumps, taught in a safe nurturing environment by an acrobatic certified teacher.

Dress Code:

Any comfortable clothes such as shorts & a T-shirt or a ballet leotard. Dancers can dance barefoot for this class.
